First Baptist Church has been loving the people of Martinsburg since June 23, 1835! What began as the vision of 10 men in a one room, lamp lit, stone hewn building nearly 200 years ago to see people experience the love of Christ has now touched countless lives in the heart of one of West Virginia’s largest cities.   

Today, First Baptist has continued the dream of their founders and seeks to make every decision with YOU in mind. We want to join you in your walk with Christ. 

We know that life can be stressful! We want to be a place where stress is left in the parking lot. There are NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED.
